NorCal Giants AAAA Champs again!

We finished with a perfect 8-0 record. We outscored our opponents 94-11 in the 8 games.

Norcal Giants 4-0 so far

We are 4-0 after our last pool game on Wednesday.

Washington Titans 13 — Antiques 3

Our 3-2 record gave us the #6 seed in the top (AAAA) bracket. We faced the #3 Washington Titans.

Terre Haute Volkers 11 — Antiques 2

We lost the “placement” game to the Volkers. Our bats went cold, and our defense was not as tight as in our first 4 games.

Washington Titans 5 — Antiques 2

We got our 4th complete game, but not our 4th win. Denny Brown pitched well, but we couldn’t generate enough offense to grab the win. Denny gave up 5 runs, on 12 hits, 6 Ks, and no walks. Highlights: Bill Bonekat 2-3, 2b, and got hit by a pitch.

Antiques 10 — New Jersey Wonderboys 4

For the third game in a row, we got a complete game from a pitcher. This time Frank Milian went all 9, giving up 4 runs on 11 hits, 4 Ks, and no walks. Highlights: Bill Bonekat 3-4, with a two run double. Mike Sasso 2-4, 2 RBI. George Esposito 2-4. Phil Moses 2-2, including a double.
