Here’s a quick summary of the TV Board meeting.
Fees have increased
The league has raised the team fee from $5,000 to $5,625. That means that we have to increase the per player fee from $350 that I announced last week to $375. If you’ve already paid the $350, I’ll cover the extra $25. If you haven’t already paid, please pay $375.
Deadline for payment
Unlike previous years, we now have a deadline of March 23 to submit the entire team fee. In prior years, we have submitted team fees shortly after the season starts. Unfortunately, some teams abused that and ended up not paying their entire fee. That means that if you want to play this year, I need you to pay your per player fee by 3/15.
Reunion
There is a sub-committee of the Board working on a reunion of players that have played in TV in the past. I don’t have any details yet. That committee has just started the planning work.
