It’s time to start getting ready for some baseball! Spring training has started in AZ and FL, so we should get started too. This message has a bunch of announcements, so please read it all. You don’t want to miss anything, right? This is for anybody on the Antiques Red, Antiques Blue, or Black Sox.

Here are the results for the Boston Braves in the Roy Hobbs World Series, 65+ Division, for 2012. 6 Antiques players played for the Braves this year.

Antiques in semi-finals of AAA on Saturday

The Antiques are seeded 6th of 9 in the AAA division of 60+. We beat the #3 seed, Nova Scotia Monarchs, on Friday, 19-6. We play the Detroit 60s (#2 seed) at 10am on Saturday in the semi-finals. Quick update on the Roy Hobbs World Series

A bunch of us played for the Boston Braves in the Vintage (65+) division last week. We won the top bracket of the tournament with a 7-0 record!  Antiques players on the team were: Denny Brown, Gus Manning, George Esposito, Mike Tarens, Rankin Lyman, and Terry Gammill.
