When you get to Ft. Myers

This is for both teams: Norcal Giants 55+ and Norcal Antiques 60+.

All players must check in at tournament headquarters, Lee County Stadium, before you can play. You must get a player ID card, and carry it with you to all games. No card = no play. You will need a photo ID when you check in. They will check your birthdate against what’s on the registration info. If you don’t come in until Sunday or later, you still must check in before you can play. Try to check in on Saturday to avoid any crowds on Sunday. And PLEASE be cooperative and friendly with the staff who are checking you in. They put in long days. Saturday is the playoffs and championship games from the previous week and the checkin for the next week. So cut them a little slack if they seem tired or distracted.

We have a practice field for Saturday at 4:30pm at Terry Park #3. If you’re in town by then, and you want to do a little throwing etc., come on out. Bob Wilms won’t be there, but Mike Tysdal probably will. I will try to make it, but can’t guarantee. I’ll be driving from Boca Raton. So bring a baseball or two, just in case.
