Practice and Games

3 Practices (March 11, 18, 25)

We have reserved Max Baer Park # 2 at 1310 Murdell Lane, Livermore, CA 94550 for three practices: SUN 11 March, SUN 18 March, SUN 25 March. Please show up at 9-ish to warm up. We have reserved the Field for 9:30-11:30AM each day.

Practice Game (March 11)

We have also scheduled an optional Practice Game for SUN at 1:30PM vs Tri-Valley Braves at Livermore High J-V Field (600 Maple St, Livermore, CA If you want to play in the practice game, e-mail me as soon as possible, because there are only 12 slots available. Anyone and everyone (Antiques Blues, Reds, Black Sox) is welcome for the Morning Practice at Max Baer, but only the first 12 players to respond can be accommodated for the Afternoon Practice Game at Livermore High J-V. (Livermore High J-V is the field adjacent to the Livermore High Varsity Field where we played all our home games last year.)

Opening Day

There is some talk that the first regular game (Opening Day) might be as early as April 1 if the Tri-Valley league can obtain fields for that day. If not, Opening Day would be April 15, as we guessed earlier. (If Opening Day is April 15, we will have a practice on April 1). Denny is likely to know about Opening Day by this weekend.
