The Braves stayed undefeated by beating the Antiques Red, 11-2.

The Braves jumped ahead in the bottom of the first. Tom McClain doubled to lead off the bottom of the first. Mike Wilgus, Braves starting pitcher and cleanup hitter, bombed a double to center. Antiques starter Mike McIntyre was able to escape the first allowing only two runs by getting out of a bases-loaded, one out situation without giving up another run.

McIntyre wasn’t as fortunate in the second. 5 Braves hits and a couple of Antiques errors led to 6 runs, giving the Braves an 8-0 lead.

The Antiques posted single runs in the third and 4th with the help of some shaky Braves defense.

The Braves pitching, Wilgus, Toby Pasillas, and Dave Sites, silenced the Antiques’ bats the rest of the way.
