Some near-final info on the tournament.
Check in on Saturday if possible
You must check in and get your player card before you play. Our first game is on Sunday at 10am, so check in on Saturday if at all possible.
You will need a couple of things when you check-in.
- ID (some form of PHOTO identification that proves your age.)
- Player Contract/Waiver (this must be submitted to Roy Hobbs before check-in, or provided to us at check-in. Players from 2011 or 2012 are covered.)
- $1 (tournament admission)
When you check-in, you will …
- Sign the liability waiver and receive a tournament program, schedule book and your player ID card. You must have your player card with you at all times when you are at one of the tournament complexes. Your player card is also how you get your tournament T-Shirt and patch, which can be picked up Monday – Friday from Noon to 6 PM (closed Wednesdays) at Lee County Sports Complex.
- Go from the registration tent to the Stadium Concourse to complete registration by filling out your housing information and getting your RHWS Welcome Bag. While you are up there, your card will also get you 1 free beer between Noon and 6 PM, on SATURDAY ONLY, at the concession stand.
- Players signed up for the Locker Room Option can check in inside the locker room once they have completed their registration process.
Uniforms
I will have caps and tops. You need to bring pants and trim. Ideal pants are white with black pinstripes. If you don’t have pins, that’s OK. Plain white is second best. Gray is OK too. I’m not a stickler for fashion, but I do like us to look decent. Trim (sleeves, belt, sox) should be black. Our new caps are black bill with white cap body with the Antiques logo.
Schedule
We have a practice field at 2pm on Saturday. I don’t know where yet. I’ll update this when I know where we’re practicing.

We have a few more possible additions depending on last minute details.

I will be flying to Boca Raton on Wednesday, 11/6. Driving from Boca to Ft. Myers on Saturday morning, arriving in time for practice at 2pm. Jeff, Nancy, Jake, and I will be staying in a condo near Summerlin & Gladiolus.
Update on me
I think I’m pretty well recovered from the kidney infection that knocked me on my butt for the last few weeks. I felt LOTS better today at practice and afterward. I’m looking forward to getting healthy this week and being ready to roll next week.
