We came into Wednesday with a 2-0 record after beating the Classic Thunder in game 1, and the San Antonio Texans in a rain-shortened game 2. We got rained out on Tuesday, so we played a double-header on Wednesday against the Kansas City Blues and the Minnesota Bees.
Mark Holzwart tossed a 7-inning complete game in the opener against the Blues. We won 15-1.
In the second game we beat the Bees 12-2 in 8 innings. Craig Aramaki’s 3 run triple provided the 10 run margin we needed.
That brought our record to 4-0, with 4 runs allowed. We were tied with the Washington Titans and New England Red Sox at 4-0. The Titans also had allowed 4 runs; the Red Sox had allowed 14 runs.
