The Braves got half way back with two runs on two walks and two hits off of Zach.

We answered with three in the top of the second. George Esposito got us started with a walk. Phil reached on an infield error. Angelo drilled a two-run double, and Denny Brown singled in Angelo.

We traded runs in the third. We scored on Mike Sasso’s walk and stolen base and Panos’ single. They answered with a leadoff single, a walk, and a botched double play that allowed the run.

We traded runs again in the fourth. Phil got us another “Phil run” on a walk, two stolen bases, and a wild pitch. They got a walk, stolen base, and base hit to score one. Two more walks loaded the bases, but Zach got out of the inning by getting a double-play ground ball to Angelo who stepped on third and got the batter at first.

Zach walked the first two batters in the 5th. Julian came in, gave up a hit to load the bases and then got a 1-2-3 double play. The next batter singled to center to score one run. We got the runner from second out at the plate on a crisp 8-6-2 relay. Hiro Tarumi to Denny to Cy.
