MSBL Kickoff: Antiques win 65+ division

The Antiques went 5-1 in the Las Vegas Kickoff Classic 65+ division to take home the trophy. We opened on Saturday with wins over the Ports (Santa Rosa) and the Phillies (Philly & Detroit). We lost on Sunday morning to the San Diego Mudcats, then beat the Avengers (Springfield, Ill.) On Monday, we beat the Ports again in the semi-finals….

RHWS Results Saturday 11/22 – Giants Win 3rd Title

We won our double-header on Saturday to capture our third straight Classics AAAA championship. We beat the Washington Titans, 8-3, in our semi-final game. John Arnold went all 9 innings and stifled the Titans offense. The New England Red Sox beat the Ohio Classics, 3-0, in the other semi-final. That set up a rematch of last year’s championship game. RHWS Results Friday 11/21

In the #8 vs. #9 seed game, the KC Blues beat the Philadelphia Brewers 12-0. So we faced the KC Blues in our afternoon game. Bob Loflin and Dan Pawelek combined for a 7-inning shutout.  Bob went 6 innings and left with an 8-0 lead. Danny tossed a quick top of the seventh. We scored 2 runs in the bottom…
