We won our double-header on Saturday to capture our third straight Classics AAAA championship.
We beat the Washington Titans, 8-3, in our semi-final game. John Arnold went all 9 innings and stifled the Titans offense.
The New England Red Sox beat the Ohio Classics, 3-0, in the other semi-final.

That set up a rematch of last year’s championship game. Richie Figueroa and Danny Pawelek were the starting pitchers for the Red Sox and Giants, respectively.
Shaky defense to set the table and timely hitting by the offense to drive in runs characterized the game for both teams. When it was all done, we eked out a 6-4 win.
Way to go boys!! Very impressive.
