I’m behind on getting the news posted on the site. It’s amazing how busy you get on vacation…
So this is a real quick update. I’ll do more when I have time… Honest.
Our 65+ Norcal Antiques team won our semi-final game against Team Florida, 6-5. Panos Lagos drove in Hiro Tarumi (running for Cy Rogers) in the bottom of the ninth.
Then we lost in the finals, 9-8, to the Sacramento Solons. We scored 3 runs in the top of the ninth to tie the game at 8, and then gave up a walk-off run in the bottom of the ninth. Lee Jackson singled to drive in Mark Adams with the winner.
Our 60+ Norcal Giants team is officially 1-0. We were ahead 8-1 after 5 innings of Monday night’s game. We might have to finish that game or maybe the game will be declared over. We got rained out on Tuesday. We’ll have a double-header on Wednesday to catch up. We play at 10 am at PDC5 and 1:45 at PDC2.
